6.5

So much has happened in the last 2 weeks. She's enjoyed playing with Nana and papa so much and has been sad when both of then had to leave. Papa was really good at making her laugh and she loved pulling his glasses and moustache and following him around. Nana still has the touch and can get Evee to sleep. She also loved nanas bath in the sink :)

Yesterday was a whirlwind of cleaning, loading and unloading, sitting on the empty apartment floor while Evee napped and being very tired. She explored all over with Demise and Delena and thought the apartment looked weird empty. She still found stuff to get into.

I ate a peach popsicles from TJs at the end and evee had some too. It's a mix of peaches, white grape juice and peach juice so more like a slushie...she loved it and was surprised by the cold. She also sucked on some ice to cool down and drank out of my red water cup like she loves to do.

Our first full day at Aunt Kims was today. Evee needed and wanted the downtime. She crawled all, over the patio, splashed in the water while the kids sprayed each other and wanted to eat everything at lunch. She tried cantelope (thought it was ok but kindof sweet) and cucumber (did NOT like it at all, made faces.) Pretty fun to give her a taste of real food :)

She played in the closet today with Caleb for awhile. They were so cute...I think Caleb likes having someone to boss around :)

Before I forget...she loves to lick things right now. The sliding glass door, the oven, the fridge. Never thought I would have to say "don't lick the toilet!!!"

She is saying Da Da a TON!! She said it talking about M for the first time when Mom was here. We had been skyping and I said "did you tell Nana we were talking to daddy?"...then she clearly said "Da Da"!

One week til we are back together with daddy. This month has been so, so bittersweet. I don't think our family here will ever really know how much they mean to us. So thankful to my parents, Denise, Chris, and the Blades for everything, too much to name.
